Harry Hunt, served the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce from1980 to 2016. Harry recovered the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce from bankruptcy in 1900 and served as President of the Liverpool Chamber from 1998 to 2016 and left it in a healthy financial situation with over $90,000 in the Bank. He is one of Liverpool’s most respected citizens. Harry is well known for this charity and support into the community of Liverpool and donates on an average $50k back into the community each year. Harry Hunt owns and operates the County Comfort Hunts Liverpool, it is one of Liverpool’s longest operating Hotels. Harry brings to the Committee a wealth of experience and contacts to make things happen in the best interest of Liverpool.

Fazila Farhad is currently the Managing Director Ramada Hotel & Suites Sydney Cabramatta (a part of the Wyndham Hotel Group), previously branded as Ibis styles and part of the Accor group. After graduation from University College London (UCL), she started her banking career at Standard Chartered bank and rose to the position of head of Private Banking. She brings with her a wealth of experience in hospitality, business development, marketing and banking built up while working with brands like Crowne Plaza, Accor Hotels, Dupont & Standard Chartered Bank, rising to her current position as Managing Director Ramada Hotels & Suites by Wyndham.
Fazila has been an active community supporter for South West Sydney and is Vice president of South West Sydney Tourism Taskforce, Liquor Accord Fairfield Cabramatta, and Director Cabramatta Chamber of Commerce & Liverpool . During her tenure, the hotel has sponsored Educational & Charity events for Liverpool Hospital /Ingham institute /Fairfield Hospital, National Breast Cancer Foundation, Western Sydney University, Liverpool police officer, Celebrated 125 years of Cabramatta & various other local charities in Liverpool and Fairfield. Her passion for tourism and hospitality has driven her to actively work with the board of South West Sydney Tourism Taskforce, federal and local bodies and businesses to put together the first Tourism Map for Fairfield and Liverpool which will be distributed locally and internationally, therefore laying the founding steps for tourism that will be generated by the new Western Sydney Airport coming up.

Tom Wang, served the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce for 2 years and currently is on the board as a director. His new establishment in Liverpool “Quest Liverpool” has been the first premium accommodation provider located in Liverpool’s CBD which facilitated the great demand of accommodation in regional Tourism. Tom has actively engaged in the community of Liverpool via supporting various local charities and the events. Tom Wang brings to the SWSTT committee with his vision that “Tourism” is one of the strongest drivers of world trade and prosperity and it is acting as an engine for our city’s development through attracting international & domestic visitors and creating direct & indirect employment. If we can package up all existing assets and collaborating with its stakeholders more effectively throughout our region now, the changes and benefits will immediately be seen and delivered to everyone in our community.

Tina Edney is the CEO and founder of Macarthur Tourism, Travel and Events College (MTTEC), a Registered Training Organisation (# 41365) that was established in 2015. Tina has over 25 years’ experience in the travel and events industries, and taught at TAFE NSW for over 15 years.
Tina was born and raised in Macarthur, where she still resides today with her family. She is passionate about building visitation through tourism in the area and providing flexible, high quality training options to meet the growing industry demand. Tina is an active member of the Campbelltown and Greater Narellan Chambers of Commerce and supporter of small businesses working in partnership to do great things.

Maryann lives in Camden and is excited about the diversity and quality of untapped local tourism experiences that are in the south-west of Sydney. The ‘hidden gems’ deserve to be revealed to wider visiting communities.
Maryann is currently President of the Camden Chamber of Commerce, Tourism & Industry Inc. as well as being Principal of her own Urban Design + Landscape Architecture firm.
